The depression will now turn into a deep low-pressure area and move over Uttar Pradesh. Under its influence, heavy rain is now possible over Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and hills including East Madhya Pradesh. Moderate rains are also likely over East Rajasthan and Northeast states. Monsoon will weaken over West Rajasthan, Gujarat and South India.
