Monsoon will remain weak in the rest of the states while heavy rains in northeastern states

Heavy rain is likely over Jharkhand including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and northeastern states during the next few days. Light to moderate rain may occur over the mountains for the next two days. Monsoon will remain weak over most of the rest of the country. The effect of El Nino will be visible in almost all the states of the country in August and September and the monsoon rains will become weak.
