There is a possibility of rain in some districts of Punjab. Light rain may also occur over Himachal and Uttarakhand. Delhi, Haryana, most parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh up to Gujarat and Rajasthan will remain dry. Scattered light rain may occur over North East Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim and Northeast states. Monsoon will remain weak over South India though rains may occur over Rayalaseema and some parts of Tamil Nadu. Monsoon may become somewhat active in September and its effect may be visible in East and Central India.
