For good germination and growth of the plants, it is necessary to have friable soil. After harvesting the previous crop, do one ploughing with earth turning plough and after that, apply FYM @ 5 tonne + SpeedKompost @ 4 kg per acre, evenly in the field. and do 2-3 ploughing with the help of a harrow. Remove the other unwanted material present in the field, if the soil moisture is less then first irrigate, then prepare the field, and lastly make leveling the field by the leveler.
Nutrient Management
At the time of sowing or within 15 days after sowing, apply TB3 (Nitrogen Fixing, Phosphate solubilizing and Potassium mobilizing biofertilizer consortia) @ 3 kg + Tri-Coat Maxx ( A mixture Organic Carbon 3%, Humic, Fulvic, Organic Nutrients) @ 4 kg + Combat (Trichoderma viride 1.0 WP) @ 1 kg + TABA G (Zinc soluble bacteria) 4 kg, per acre in the field evenly.
