For good germination and growth of the plants, it is necessary to have friable soil. After harvesting the previous crop, do one ploughing with earth turning plough and after that, apply FYM @ 5 tonne + Speed Kompost @ 4 kg per acre, evenly in the field. and do 2-3 ploughing with the help of a harrow. Remove the other unwanted material present in the field, if the soil moisture is less then first irrigate, then prepare the field, and lastly make leveling the field by the leveler.

Nutrient Management

At the time of sowing or within 15 days after sowing, apply TB3 (Nitrogen Fixing, Phosphate solubilizing and Potassium mobilizing biofertilizer consortia) @ 3 kg + Tri-Coat Maxx  ( A mixture Organic Carbon 3%, Humic, Fulvic, Organic Nutrients) @ 4 kg + Combat (Trichoderma viride 1.0 WP) @ 1 kg + TABA G (Zinc soluble bacteria) 4 kg, per acre in the field evenly.

  • Preparation of the field should start with a deep plowing, after that, 2-3 plowing harrows or with the help of a soil turning plow, soak the soil so that the water holding capacity of the soil is increased and seed germination can also be done well.
  • In May and June, the sunlight falls directly on the ground and the temperature is high, due to destroyed weeds, their seeds, harmful pests, and their eggs, pupa as well as the spores of the fungi present in the soil on deep plowing. 
  • At the time of final plowing, mix 7 kg Soya Samriddhi kit issued by Gramophone in 4 tons FYM and level the field by running a pot.
  • There should be moisture in the soil while using this kit.

  • In the initial stage, the field is ploughed 4-5 times to make the land Friable and before the final ploughing, add 10-15 tons of ripe cow dung manure per acre of land.
  • If the soil is infested with nematodes & white ants or red ants, apply Carbofuran at the rate of 10 kg/acre. 
  • After levelling the field, 60 cm wide channels are made at a distance of 2.0- to 2.5 cm.
  • The length of the channel depends on the source of irrigation, season, rainfall and slope land.

  • The planting distance may vary according to variety early, mid and late.
  • planting seasons (Rabi, Kharif, and Zaid ) and soil conditions (light, medium and heavy).
  • The following distances are generally recommended on the basis of the maturity of varieties.
  • For early varieties:- 45 X 45 cm.
  • For mid  varieties:- 60 X 40 cm.
  • For late  varieties:- 60 X 60 cm. or 60 X45 cm.

Soybean Field preparation

  • For Better Seed Germination, Soil should be well Pulverized and ploughed.
  • Deep summer ploughing once in 2-3 years or one normal summer ploughing followed by 2-3 cross harrowing are suitable for the soybean crop.
  • If the moisture content is less in the soil, with pre-sowing irrigation add 4 kg of speed compost per acre to the field and prepare it for sowing, in the last, Level the farm through leveler.
