Rs 1250 will be given on Rakshabandhan, Chief Minister announced

Madhya Pradesh CM Shri Shivraj Chouhan has taken a unique step in a program organized in Chhindwara recently, where he made it clear that an amount of ₹1250 will be sent to the accounts of sisters on August 27, before Raksha Bandhan. However, he did not clarify whether this amount was being sent as a gift for the Rakshabandhan festival or as the primary payment amount under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana on September 10.

During this event, the Chief Minister said that he is increasing the amount given under Ladli Bahna Yojana. Initially, women are being given ₹ 1000 monthly, but it will be gradually increased to ₹ 3000 monthly. In this sequence, the first increment was announced on 27 August 2023, which means that in the coming months, the sisters of Madhya Pradesh will get ₹ 1250 per month.
