Heavy rains have started in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Central Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal and North-Eastern states. Thunderstorms may also occur with strong winds. In the southern districts of Gujarat one can also read in light showers. Now gradually the rain activities will reach Bihar, Jharkhand and Eastern Uttar Pradesh including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The weather of West and North India will remain hot and dry.
