Heavy rains in eastern states while the weather will remain dry in the rest of the regions

The effect of El Nino is now visible. Most parts of India are witnessing a severe deficiency in rainfall. Except for East India, break Monsoon conditions are prevailing over the rest of India. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the northeastern states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. On the other hand, from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Gujarat, Monsoon will be very weak over Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and South India.
