Symptoms and control measures of Diamondback moth in Cabbage crop

The caterpillars of this insect feed on the lower surface of the leaves and make holes in the leaves due to which the leaves become skeletonized. And only the veins remain. In severe outbreaks, entire parts may be damaged. Caterpillars and pupae are found on the damaged part.

Control measures

For control of this pest, Spray Cosko (Chlorantraniliprole 18.50% SC) @ 20 ml or Dhanvan 20 (Chloropyriphos 20% EC) @ 800 ml + Novamaxx (Gibberellic acid 0.001 L) @ 60 ml + Silicomaxx Gold @ 50 ml per acre, @ 150 – 200 liters of water.
