Many states of the country are facing the problem of water due to the depleting groundwater level. The biggest impact of this is on the agriculture sector. To deal with the problem of water, the state governments are running various schemes. In this sequence, the Rajasthan government has announced a special scheme for the farmers of its state.
Will get financial help for irrigation
Actually, the sowing of the Kharif crop is near. However, due to the falling ground level, there may be a shortage of water for the farmers to irrigate their fields. To solve this problem, the state government has started the ‘Rajasthan Kisan Farm Pond Scheme’. Under the scheme, financial assistance of 60% i.e. maximum of 63 thousand rupees will be given by the government for the construction of ponds in the field.
These farmers will get the benefit
However, the benefit of the scheme will be available to those farmer brothers who have at least 0.3 hectares of cultivable land. Beneficiaries can apply online or offline to take advantage of the scheme.

For offline application, the beneficiary has to contact his Regional Assistant Agriculture Officer or Agriculture Supervisor. At the same time, you can apply online by visiting the official portal rajkisan.rajsthan.gov.in. Where after the completion of the investigation process, an amount of 63 thousand rupees will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account.
