Many beneficial schemes are being run by the government to increase the income of farmers and make farming easier. By taking advantage of these schemes, farmers are not only improving their farming but also improving their economic condition. The government helps farmers in all tasks from sowing to selling produce. In this series, the government is providing subsidies on modern farming machines to the farmers for the upcoming Kharif season. The government will give this subsidy to the farmers through the “Agriculture Equipment Grant Scheme”.

In Madhya Pradesh, this scheme is being run as ‘E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana’, whereas in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, it is popular in the name of ‘Agriculture Mechanization Scheme’. In Rajasthan it is called the ‘Agriculture Equipment Grant Scheme’. Similarly, it is known by many other names in different states. Under this, farmers avail subsidy on the purchase of agricultural machines.
Through the “Agricultural Mechanization Scheme” farmers of the state get a subsidy of 40 to 80%. In this scheme, agricultural equipment related to ploughing, sowing, weeding, irrigation, harvesting, rosemary and horticulture etc. have been kept.
