The use of modern agricultural machines is increasing in agriculture. Due to which this works like ploughing, sowing, harvesting and threshing have become easy. However, many farmers are unable to buy these machines due to financial constraints, due to which they are still using the same old technology. In such a situation, the central and state governments are running many schemes to solve this problem for the farmers.
In this series, the Bihar government is running the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme for financial assistance to the farmers of the state. Through this scheme, the state government is providing a 50% subsidy to eligible farmers on the purchase of agricultural machinery. At the same time, an 80% subsidy is being given to SC/ST farmers in this scheme. Interested farmers can go to the agriculture department office to take advantage of this scheme.
