Symptoms of damage

Mealybugs are small oval, soft-bodied nectar-sucking insects. The adult mealy bug covers the leaves, stems, and roots with white wax cover. Mealybug deprives the plants of essential nutrients by sucking large amounts of sap from the leaves and stems with the help of their piercing & sucking mouthparts. This insect additionally secretes honey dew. which attracts antsThis honey dew helps in the development of fungus, which hinders the process of photosynthesis of the plant.

Control measures 

Spray D-One (SULFOXAFLOR 21.80 % w/w SC) @  150 ml + silico maxx @ 50 ml per acre, @ 150 to 200 liter of water per acre.
