The month of March 2022 was the hottest for India in the last 121 years. In Delhi too, the average maximum temperature in March was the fourth hottest. The scorching heat will continue in the first fortnight of April as well. A low-pressure area may form in the Bay of Bengal after April 4, which is likely to strengthen into a depression.
