There will be heavy rain in the next two days

The cyclonic circulation is now over Madhya Pradesh. During the next two days, there may be heavy rain in some parts of Bihar including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and coastal parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka. There is a possibility of light rain in East Rajasthan and East Gujarat. The weather of Saurashtra and Kutch along with Western Rajasthan will remain dry for now. Light to moderate rain may occur in Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, and southern districts of Maharashtra. Heavy rain will continue in the southern peninsular areas also. The weather in the mountains including Punjab, Haryana and Delhi may remain dry for now.

Rain activities may also start over East Rajasthan and East Gujarat. The weather in Punjab, Haryana, West Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch will remain dry for the time being.

A low-pressure area will soon form in the North West Bay of Bengal and under its influence, there will be heavy rain in Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Telangana. Rain activities will also increase in West Bengal including Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and East Uttar Pradesh. Drought-like conditions will persist in Punjab, Haryana including Gujarat and Rajasthan. However, rain is possible at isolated places over eastern districts of Haryana and Punjab including Delhi as well as East Rajasthan.

In the early days of September, a low-pressure area may form in the Bay of Bengal which will move westwards and give heavy rains in Orissa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Marathwada including Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It will turn towards the northeast while coming over Madhya Pradesh and then it can give heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand as well. But its effect will not be visible in the coastal parts of western Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. The weather in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi is also likely to remain dry. Monsoon may become active once again in South India.
