In the early days of September, a low-pressure area may form in the Bay of Bengal which will move westwards and give heavy rains in Orissa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Marathwada including Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It will turn towards the northeast while coming over Madhya Pradesh and then it can give heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand as well. But its effect will not be visible in the coastal parts of western Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. The weather in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi is also likely to remain dry. Monsoon may become active once again in South India.
