The Meteorological Department announces, this time monsoon will rain more than normal

According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon of 2024 will be 106% and most parts of India will receive good rains. Rain will continue in the mountains for the next 24 hours. Light rain may occur in Vidarbha, Marathwada and South Eastern Madhya Pradesh. A new powerful Western Disturbance will start affecting the mountains from April 18. Rain activities may start once again in Rajasthan, Gujarat and North India from April 19.

There will be dust storms at some places and hailstorms will fall at some places. Odisha including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal may also experience light rain at isolated places along with thunder. Light rain may occur in many states of South India.
