Due to its effect, there may be heavy rain and hailstorms in the mountains for the next two or three days, strong winds may blow and there may also be snowfall on the high mountains. There may be thunderstorms and hailstorms with heavy rain in the northern districts of Punjab and Haryana. There are chances of rain in some districts of Uttar Pradesh also. Severe heat waves will continue in Tamil Nadu including West Bengal, Orissa, Telangana, and Karnataka.

On the evening of 23 April, thunderstorms and rain accompanied by strong winds were observed over parts of North Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Rain activities were also recorded over Gangetic West Bengal including Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar. There has also been heavy rain in the Northeast. From April 26, a new Western Disturbance will again bring rain to the mountains, the impact of which will be visible in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.

A new Western Disturbance will reach the mountains by April 18. The area of cyclonic winds formed due to its effect will be located in Pakistan and Rajasthan. From April 19, there will be rain in Gujarat, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and the mountains including Rajasthan. There may also be good snowfall in the mountains.
