Minimum Support Price for Kharif crops increased by 62%

At present, the government has decided to increase the MSP i.e. minimum support price for the Kharif season crops being sown by the farmers. This decision was taken by the Central Government in a meeting of the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After this meeting, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar gave this information. Giving information, he said that “Minimum Support Prices for agricultural crops are being increased and will continue to increase in future also.” Let us tell you that this time the MSP has been increased to 62% which is like a big relief for the farmers.

The low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal will cause heavy rains over West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana and East Madhya Pradesh. Monsoon is likely to advance into some parts of Central and East India in the next two-three days.

Monsoon is expected to reach the eastern districts of Madhya Pradesh by June 13. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Telangana, Orissa, West Bengal and Northeast states. Rain activities are possible over North India including Delhi from June 12.
