Monsoon reached Madhya Pradesh seven days ahead of schedule, alert in many districts

The Southwest Monsoon entered Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, bringing rain in many areas of Maharashtra. This time the monsoon has knocked in Madhya Pradesh seven days before its scheduled time. Due to the arrival of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, heavy rains have started in many districts including Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of wind speed reaching 30 to 40 km/h in Betul, Mandla, Khandwa, Jabalpur and Shahdol and adjoining areas and there is a possibility of heavy rain.

Let us inform that even before the onset of monsoon, it was raining intermittently in many areas of Madhya Pradesh. Now with the gradual progress of monsoon, nine districts including Bhopal, Sagar, Gwalior and Indore are also likely to receive good rains for the next two days. It is worth noting that in Madhya Pradesh, the monsoon usually reaches the state till June 17, although this time it is the first time in the last few years that the monsoon has reached a week earlier.
