To increase the germination percentage in cucurbitaceous crops, do these measures

To increase the germination percentage in cucurbitaceous crops do these measures
  • Cucurbitaceous crops are the main crops grown in summer.

  • In the summer season, the temperature changes and the temperature starts increasing. Due to an increase in temperature, the seeds are not fully germinated in the cucurbitaceous crops, due to which the number of plants is reduced and the yield is affected.

  • To prevent this, sow the seeds of cucurbits with seed treatment only.

  • It is very important to have sufficient moisture for germination in the field at the time of sowing. Insufficient moisture, the germination of the plant is good, the development of new roots in the plants is also good.

  • For good growth and development of roots, use the organic product Maxxmyco 2 kg/acre as soil treatment within 15-20 days of sowing.

  • Simultaneously, treat the soil with humic acid @ 500 gm/acre.

  • Use of NPK consortia available in the Gramophone Samridhi kit at 100 gm per acre of the soil gives good seed germination and good root development.

  • By adopting these measures, the germination of crops can be increased.

Government will give compensation for crop damage in 2021

The Rajasthan government keeps on making announcements every day in the interest of farmers. This time the government has come up with a scheme for those farmers whose crops were badly damaged due to last year’s floods and drought. As per the announcement of the government, a relief amount will be provided to such farmers.

Let us tell you that during the Kharif season in the year 2021 in Rajasthan, there was 33% or more crop loss in 6 thousand 122 villages of 10 districts. For this, the government has approved an amount of Rs 175 crore to give compensation to the farmers. Out of these, approval has been issued for distribution of payment to 1 lakh 84 thousand 682 farmers among the affected farmers.

The special feature of this scheme is that this relief amount will be given by the government to all those farmers whose crops were damaged, even if those farmers do not have crop insurance. At present, according to the data of the Rajasthan government, 70 lakh 58 thousand farmers are still left, who are yet to give relief. The government is engaged in the process of completing it so that the compensation for the loss of all the farmers of the state can be completed at the earliest.
