Virus outbreak in bitter gourd crop

Due to excessive heat and climate changes, the virus spreads in bitter gourd crops. Mosaic virus outbreak is mainly seen on bitter gourd crops.
Whitefly is the carrier of this virus.
It infects plant to plant by sucking sap from leaves.
The symptoms of this disease are seen in all the stages of the plant, due to which the veins of the leaves turn yellow and a mesh-like structure is formed on the leaves.
Plant growth stops. Fruits are yellow, small and of unusual shape.
Chemical management: – To prevent this, use Acetamiprid 20% SP [Novaceta]@ 100 gm or Diafenthiuron 50% WP [Pager] @ 250 gm or Pyriproxyfen 10 % + Bifenthrin 10% EC [Prudens] @ 250 ml/acre .
Biological management: – As a biological treatment, use Beauveria bassiana [Bave curb] @ 500 gm/acre.
