Only 3 documents needed for Kisan Credit Card, apply soon
For farming, farmers need seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, irrigation and agricultural implements etc. However, many farmers are unable to buy them due to financial constraints. In such a situation, the central government is running ‘Kisan Credit Card Scheme’ to eliminate this problem of farmers.
What is Kisan Credit Card Scheme?
Farmers can get loans at low interest rates with the help of this special card. Under the scheme, loans up to Rs 3 lakh are given for 5 years at just a 7% interest rate. On the other hand, if this loan is returned ahead of time, then there is also a rebate of 3% on interest. This loan is given not only for agriculture but also for fisheries and animal husbandry.
Documents required for KCC and application process
The applicant’s age should be between 18 to 75 years to avail of the benefits of the scheme. Only Aadhar card, PAN card and photo of the beneficiary are required to apply. Whereas the application form is available on the official website PMKY. In such a situation, to take advantage of government schemes, apply for KC as soon as possible.

Stem fly identification and control measures in soybean
Stem fly:
-
The maggots of the stem fly are yellow in color which enter the plant by piercing the leaves and eating the internal parts of the plant and move towards the root zone.
-
The stem of the infected plant turns red in color and zigzag tunnels appear in the plant.
-
In cases of severe infestation (3 or more maggots per plant) the plants wither and die.
-
The larvae emerge from the egg and reach the stem from the middle vein through the petiole of the leaf.
Control measures
-
For its control, Spray Lamanova (Lambda Cyhalothrin 4.9% CS) @ 120 ml or Novalaxam (Thiamethoxam 12.60% + Lambda-Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC) @ 50 ml + Silico Maxx @ 50 ml @ 150 to 200 liters of water per acre .
-
For biological control, spray Briged B (BEAUVERIA BASSIANA 1.15% WP) @1 kg/acre @ 150-200 liters of water.

Causes and Control Measures of Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus in Soybean
In soybean crops, damages ranging from 8 to 35% have been observed due to mosaic virus. The main vector insect that spreads this virus is the white fly. Symptoms of mosaic virus vary according to the variety of soybean crop. Due to its infestation, the leaves turn yellow and yellow-green spots are formed on the leaves. Due to incomplete development, leaves become distorted and appear curled up.
At the same time, the development of the plant is not done properly and the pods are not formed properly, due to which affects the production. For its control, first of all, it is necessary to control the sucking insect white fly.
for white fly control
-
For biological control, spray Brigade B (Beauveria bassiana 1.15% WP) @ 1 kg + silico maxx @ 50 ml, @ 150 to 200 liters of water per acre.
-
Apart from this, farmers should install yellow sticky traps @ 8-10 per acre, in the field to report pest infestation. This will indicate the pest outbreak, on the basis of which the farmers can save the crop from pest infestation by adopting the above-mentioned measures.
