Government will give subsidy up to 70%, will get benefit on cultivation of marigold flowers

With the help of many government schemes started for farmers, the income of farmers is increasing. In view of this, the government is also bringing many new schemes in farming. Bihar government is running a similar scheme for the farmers of its state. Under this, farmers who cultivate marigold flowers are given bumper subsidy. The objective of the government behind giving subsidy is that the farmers of North Bihar can achieve self-sufficiency in marigold cultivation.

According to the news, a target of 6 hectares has been set for the cultivation of marigold flowers in Bihar by the year 2023-24. Through this scheme, farmers of North Bihar can get the benefit of subsidy up to 70% on cultivation of marigold. The benefit of this scheme will be available to those farmers who have already registered for it on the DBT portal. If you have not registered on the DBT portal till now, then do it soon.

There will be no relief from the heat till the end of May, see the weather forecast

The temperature may also cross the 45 degree mark in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The outbreak of severe heat will also be seen in Delhi. Along with Haryana, Punjab and Vidarbha, the heat will also wreak havoc in North Central Maharashtra. On the other hand, rain will continue in South India and heavy rains may also occur at some places from Andhra Pradesh to Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands including Lakshadweep. Northeast states may also receive light rain.

Instead of cultivating traditional crops like paddy and wheat, farmers can also get good profits from flower cultivation. In many villages of Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, farmers are cultivating flowers on a large scale. Here farmers are cultivating flowers like marigold, rose and gladiolus. Farmers are also earning profits of lakhs from this. The government is also promoting flower cultivation and is also giving financial help to the farmers in the form of grants for this.

The process of registration has started to get subsidy on flower cultivation. Under this, farmers get different grants for cultivation of different flowers. 60 thousand rupees are given on cultivation of gladiolus, 40 thousand on cultivation of rose, 16 thousand on cultivation of marigold at the rate of per hectare. To take advantage of the scheme, farmers must get themselves registered as soon as possible. After the registration is completed, farmers will get its benefit on the basis of “first come first serve”.
