These farmers will get free pulses and oilseeds for four years

Many schemes are being run by the government for the welfare of the farmers and subsidies are also being given. Moving a step ahead in this episode, the Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big decision. The government will now distribute seeds of pulses and oilseed crops free of cost to the farmers for the next four years i.e. till 2027. Let us know in detail the complete details of this scheme.

The main objective behind this scheme is to increase the production from pulses and oilseeds crops. For this, along with giving free seeds, there is also a provision for training the farmers. Under this scheme, at present, seeds of sesame, groundnut, mustard, linseed and urad, moong, arhar, gram, pea and lentil will be distributed free of cost in oilseed crops.

For this scheme, preference will be given to eligible marginal and small marginal farmers of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and free mini kit of seeds will be given. Apart from this, 25% of the seed kits have been kept reserved for distribution to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe farmers. Tell that every year 6 lakh 66 thousand 578 mini insects will be given to the farmers and this process will continue for the next four years.

The use of modern agricultural machines is increasing in agriculture. Due to which this works like ploughing, sowing, harvesting and threshing have become easy. However, many farmers are unable to buy these machines due to financial constraints, due to which they are still using the same old technology. In such a situation, the central and state governments are running many schemes to solve this problem for the farmers.

In this series, the Bihar government is running the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme for financial assistance to the farmers of the state. Through this scheme, the state government is providing a 50% subsidy to eligible farmers on the purchase of agricultural machinery. At the same time, an 80% subsidy is being given to SC/ST farmers in this scheme. Interested farmers can go to the agriculture department office to take advantage of this scheme.

Nowadays, many types of new methods are being used in farming, due to which farmers get good yields. These new methods are also being promoted by the government. Nowadays tissue culture method is being used for banana cultivation. The government is also providing substantial subsidies to the farmers for this.

Explain that through the tissue culture method, the plant is prepared in a short time for banana cultivation. Apart from this, the quality of plants prepared by this method is also better than normal plants. It also gives more profit to the farmers. These plants remain completely healthy and are disease resistant.

However, the Bihar government is giving subsidies on banana cultivation through tissue culture under the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission scheme. The government is giving a 50% subsidy on this item. Explain that the cost of banana cultivation in one hectare comes to about Rs 1,25,000, half of which i.e. Rs 62,500 will be given as subsidy to the beneficiary farmers.
