Cyclone Midhili hit the Bangladesh coast on the afternoon of 17 November and has now weakened and is visible around Nagaland as a low-pressure area. Now north-easterly winds will become stronger in the Bay of Bengal, which will increase rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. There is a cyclonic circulation in the southern Andaman Sea which may cause heavy rainfall in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A light western disturbance is reaching the mountains which may cause light snowfall in the higher mountains. Gujarat and southern Rajasthan will have to wait for winter.

Symptoms of this disease first appear on the old leaves, after which it spreads to other parts of the plant.
The powder is deposited on both the surfaces of pea leaves. Later powdery spots are formed on the soft stems, pods etc. The fruits either do not develop or remain small.
Chemical treatment: Spray hexaconazole 5% SC @ 400 ml / acre or Sulfur 80% WDG @ 500 gram/ acre or Tebuconazole 10% + Sulfur 65% WG @ 500 gram/acre or Myclobutanil 10% WP@ 100 gram/acre
Biological treatment: Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram as a biological treatment

In different states, the government provides substantial subsidies on expensive agricultural machinery like power tillers and rotavators so that general farmers can also use them. Let us know in today’s article how much subsidy the government is giving on these instruments in states like Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Assam.

First of all, let’s talk about Chhattisgarh, Here farmers can easily use farming equipment through an agricultural mechanization scheme. Under this scheme, the state’s general category farmers and scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and women farmers are also being given huge subsidies of 60 to 70% on the purchase of these agricultural equipment.

Farmers of Tamil Nadu can also buy many modern agricultural implements like power, tiller, seed drills, zero-till and seed fertilizers at tremendous subsidies. The government here is giving a 40% subsidy on power spare to general category farmers and a 60% subsidy to SC and ST farmers.

Farmers in Uttar Pradesh can buy tractors at a subsidy of 30% or up to a maximum of Rs 50,000. Farmers can avail the benefits of this scheme on the purchase of Mahindra, Swaraj and Sonalika tractors.

If we talk about the state of Maharashtra, here too farmers can take advantage of huge discounts under the Farm Mechanization Scheme. Small farmers can buy tractors under this scheme and they can get up to 50% discount on them.

Farmers of Gujarat can also buy agricultural machinery on heavy subsidies. Here, a 25% subsidy is being given to the farmers coming under the general category, while a 35% subsidy is being given to the farmers of the remaining class.

In the state of Assam, the government is running the Mukhyamantri Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana. Farmers get good benefits from this scheme. Under this, if farmers buy tractors, they can get a huge discount of up to 70%.

Necessary spraying to be done in gram in 20 -25 days after sowing

Gram is the most important pulse crop of India. It is used for human consumption as well as for feeding animals. The fresh green leaves and pods are used as vegetables and the husk is excellent fodder for cattle.
To protect the crop from insect and fungal diseases in 20-25 days of sowing in gram crop, first spray Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% 300 gm + Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% EC at the rate of 400 ml per acre.
For vegetative growth and development of the crop, spray Seaweed Extract @ 400 grams or Gibberellic Acid at 0.001% @ 300 ml per acre.
Use a silicone-based sticker with every spray @ 5 ml / 15 litres of water.

There may also be heavy rain in the southern districts of West Bengal adjoining Bangladesh. Rain activities will be light in Orissa. There will be only light rain on the coast of Andhra Pradesh. Light to moderate rain may occur over Tamil Nadu and South Kerala. Rain activities will also increase over Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and South Assam. The weather in the rest of India will remain dry.
