In this series, there is also a special scheme of the Uttar Pradesh Government, “Mukhyamantri Khet Suraksha Yojana”. Through this, farmers can protect their crops from stray animals.
Under Mukhyamantri Khet Suraksha Yojana, those farmers who are financially weak get benefits. Through the scheme, such farmers get a subsidy of about 60% of the total expenditure or up to Rs 1.43 lakh on installing electric solar fencing per hectare.
