Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Crores of farmers across the country are improving their farming by taking advantage of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Now a big update has come out regarding this scheme, information about which every farmer must be aware. If you do not do this, your money received from this scheme may get stuck.

Let us tell you that this update is regarding completing the e-KYC process for the scheme. Those farmers who have not yet done the required e-KYC for PM Kisan Yojana should complete it as soon as possible, otherwise Rs 2000 of your 16th instalment may get stuck.

Now very little time is left to complete the e-KYC process under the scheme. According to the news coming in the media, the last date for this has been fixed as 15th January. To do e-KYC, you can visit the official website of the scheme www.pmkisan.gov.in or you can also visit your nearest CSC centre or nearest bank branch.

Symptoms of damage: Thrips and mites are the most destructive pests in chilli crops. Those who suck sap from leaves, stalks and fruits in chilli crops, due to which the leaves turn upwards and downwards. And the fruit also gets distorted, which causes kurda murda or virus disease.

Control measures: For the control of this pest, Spray Meothrin (Fenpropathrin 30% EC) @136 ml or Fosmite 50 (Ethion 50% EC) @ 600-800 ml + Silicomaxx gold @ 50 ml +  Novamaxx (Gibberellic Acid 0.001% L) @ 300 ml, per acre @ 150 to 200 litres of water.

After 3 days, Spray Privintal BV @ 100 gm per acre in 150 to 200 litres of water.

In some districts of Rajasthan, the temperature has fallen below zero. There is severe winter in Haryana, Punjab and Delhi including Rajasthan. Now the fog will start reducing in North India and sunlight will start coming out due to which the day temperature will increase and this may provide some relief. A new Western Disturbance may bring snowfall in the mountains on January 12 and 13. The next western disturbance will arrive around January 16. There are chances of rain in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Symptoms of Leaf Miner Damage: These are tiny insects. The symptoms of its damage first appear on the leaves. The female of this pest lays eggs by tunnelling inside the leaves. Due to this the larvae come out and eat the green matter of the leaves, due to which white zigzag streaks appear on the leaves. In case of severe infection, the leaves become weak and start falling.

Control measures: For control of this pest, Spray Benevia (Cyantraniliprole 10.26% OD) @ 360 ml + Neemgold Azadirachtin 3000 ppm) @ 1000 ml + Silicomaxx gold 50 ml + Novamaxx (Gibberellic Acid 0.001 % L) @ 300 ml per acre @ 150 to 200 litres of water.

Irrigation will be possible without electricity

Farmers face a lot of difficulty in irrigating in summer due to a shortage of electricity. To get rid of this problem for the farmers of the state, the Madhya Pradesh government has implemented a scheme. Under this scheme, electricity will not be required for irrigation in the field. The pump will be run with the help of solar energy.

Solar power plants of 1250 MW capacity will be set up in the state. With the help of power plants, 7996 agricultural feeders can be energized with solar energy. Through this scheme, the fields of lakhs of farmers will be irrigated and about one thousand crore rupees will also be saved. At the same time, with the help of this solar energy, electricity will also be available to the farmers during the day.

The government has been spending 14 thousand 800 crores every year to provide cheap electricity to the farmers of the state. In such a situation, the scheme of running pumps on solar energy for irrigation will prove beneficial. However, at present, solar energy is costing an average of Rs 3 20 paise per unit. Whereas in thermal power, this rate is around Rs 5, 34 paise per unit. In such a situation, the problems of both the farmers and the government will end with solar energy.

Under favourable weather conditions like low temperature, and high humidity, the disease spreads rapidly and the whole crop may be destroyed and blighted within 10-14 days.

Control measures: For the control of this disease, Spray NovaCrust (Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC) @ 300 ml or Carmanova (Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP) @ 700 gm + Novamaxx (Gibberellic Acid 0.001 % L) 300 ml + Silico Maxx gold 50 ml per acre @ 150 to 200 litres of water.

Unseasonal rain may continue for 24 more hours in many states

During the last 24 hours, rain has been seen in many districts of Maharashtra including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and East Gujarat. Rain activities may continue for the next 24 hours, after which the weather will start clearing. Winds blowing from the north direction will drop the minimum temperature in Maharashtra including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh from January 11 and the cold in the morning and night will increase. There is also a possibility of frost in many states of North India. Weather over eastern and north-eastern India will remain dry but rain will continue over South India.
