Tree owners will get Rs 2500 every year, know what is the government’s plan

Haryana Pran Vayu Devta Pension

Trees give us oxygen, and at the same time prevent soil erosion. But nowadays trees and plants are being cut wildly, due to which global warming is increasing. The effect of changing Earth’s climate is now being seen on agriculture as well and crops are facing heavy losses due to uneven weather. By planting new trees and stopping the cutting of old trees, we can reduce global warming and the government is also taking many steps in this regard. In this episode, the Haryana government is giving pensions to such trees of the state which are more than 75 years old.

This pension will be given every year by the government to the owner of the old trees for the care of the trees. This pension will be given under the “Haryana Pran Vayu Devta Pension” scheme. Under this, a total annual pension of Rs 2500 will be given to the trees which have completed 75 years of age. Let us tell you that Haryana has become the first state in the country to implement this scheme, if its good results are seen, then this scheme can be started in other states as well.

If there are trees older than 75 years on your land, then you should go to the office of the Forest Department under your district and get complete information about this scheme. After this, you can apply under the scheme. After the application, a committee will study your application and then verify if everything is correct. If you are able to fulfil all the conditions of the scheme, then you will be given the pension received by the trees.

Farmers will get free seeds in areas with low rainfall, know what is the government’s plan

Farmers will get free seeds in areas with low rainfall

Monsoon rains have been uneven this year, due to which farmers in many areas are facing water shortages for irrigation, while there are reports of damage to crops sown due to excessive rainfall in many areas. Due to scanty rains in many places, farmers could not sow Kharif crops. In view of these problems, the government has also taken several steps to help the farmers.

To help the farmers of Uttar Pradesh, the Agriculture Minister of the state extended the date of the Prime Minister’s Agriculture Insurance for the Kharif season. Along with this, the Agriculture Minister told that “Mini kits of seeds of Arhar, Urad and Moong etc. will be distributed to the farmers in 14 districts of the state which are affected by less rainfall. So that farmers can sow crops in their fields on time.” For this, about 1.5 lakh seed mini kits are being made available. Through this, about 5800 quintal seeds will be distributed free of cost to the farmers. In these 14 districts with low rainfall, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakoot, Mau, Deoria, Kushinagar, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Kaushambi and Pilibhit are included.
