This rail is proving to be helpful for small and marginal farmers to get better benefits from their agricultural products. Through this rail transportation costs are reduced significantly and also helps in wastage, safe and quick delivery. This is changing the livelihood of the farmers and they are prospering.

  • Thrips: – They are small and soft bodied insects and can be found on the upper surface of leaves but mostly on the lower surface of leaves. 
  • With their sharp mouthparts they suck the sap of the leaves, because of this leaves turn brown from margin.
  • The affected potato plant appears dry and  the leaf becomes discolored and curls upwards.
  • For the control of thrips it is necessary to different  chemicals for every spray 
  • Management: – For the prevention of thrips Fipronil 5% SC @ 400 ml / acre or Lambda Cyhalothrin  4.9% CS @ 200 ml / acre or Fipronil 40% + Imidacloprid 40% WG @ 40 gram / acre or Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC @ 80 ml / acre or Spinosad 45% SC @ 75 ml / acre.
  • Biological treatment: – As a biological treatment, spray Beauveria Bassiana @ 500 gram / acre.

There are often complaints between sugarcane farmers and sugar mill owners regarding payment. Sugar mill owners delay the payment too much and sometimes waiting for payment becomes too long.

To solve these problems, it has been decided to provide relief to sugarcane farmers from the government. The government has announced a subsidy of 3500 crores on sugar exports. This assistance amount will be deposited directly into the farmers’ accounts as payment of dues on behalf of sugar mills.

Now get compensation on livestock loss with Farmers Livestock Insurance

Animal husbandry farmers are often concerned about the loss of livestock. But now it has become possible to compensate for livestock loss through the Livestock Insurance Scheme. This scheme has been implemented in all the districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Under this scheme, a beneficiary can insure a maximum of 5 animals. In this scheme the number of 10 animals in sheep, goat, pig etc. is considered as one animal unit. This means that sheep, goat and pig spinach can insure 50 animals at a time.
