The ‘Gram Prashnotri’ is back once again on the Gramophone app. Under this quiz, one easy question will be asked every day along four options will be given, out of which you have to choose the right option. Out of all the farmers who choose the correct option, one lucky farmer will be given an attractive reward.

This Gram Prashnotri will run on Gramophone App from next 18th to 28th August 2021 and every day one lucky person will be chosen as the winner. The winners will be announced every third day. This means that every third day the three winners will be announced in the Community section of the Gramophone app, and attractive prizes will be delivered to the winners’ homes a few days after the winner is announced.

To participate in the Gram Prashnotri, you have to go to the Quiz option through the menu bar on the left upper corner of the Gramophone app and answer the simple questions asked there every day.

Establish hi-tech nursery, the government will give 20 lakh rupees

Under the Agroforestry scheme, the Union Ministry of Agriculture gives a huge grant of up to Rs 20 lakh for setting up Hi-Tech nurseries. Please inform that this scheme is being run from the year 2016-17.

Under this scheme, the tree planting process is promoted. Under this, plantations of trees like Sheesham, Teak, Safeda, Malabar, Neem, Ardu, Sandalwood and Poplar have been included.

At present this scheme is being run in states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Odisha, Punjab. Under the scheme, for setting up small and big and hi-tech nurseries, government agencies get 100% grant and farmers and private agencies get 50% grant.

In the year 2019, the Central Government had started the artificial insemination program with the aim of increasing the income of cattle farmers and increasing milk production. Under this, artificial insemination of cattle of the cow-buffalo breed is done. Two phases of this plan have been completed. Now its third phase has also started in Madhya Pradesh from 1st August 2021.

For this, an amount of Rs 63 crore 43 lakh has been sanctioned to Madhya Pradesh. Out of this amount, 26 crores 77 lakh 66 thousand have also been released. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Shri Prem Singh Patel said that “out of the sanctioned amount for 14 states of the country, Madhya Pradesh has got the highest amount in the second phase of nationwide artificial insemination program against the target of 50 thousand cow-buffalo female animals. 55 thousand have been found due to artificial insemination.

  • They fly mainly prefers tender fruits for egg-laying. Ovipositional punctures are caused by adults. From these holes, fruit juice is seen coming out. Eventually, the affected fruits rot.

  • Grown fruits infested with Fruit fly should be collected and destroyed

  • To control these flies, corn plants should be grown between the queues in the gourd field, due to the height of these plants, the fly lays eggs under the leaves.

  • During summer, deep ploughing should destroy the dormant stage (pupa) of the fly present inside the soil.

  • For effective control of pests, use light traps, Pheromone traps.

  • Spray Thiamethoxam 12.6 % + Lamda Cyhalothrin 9.5%zc 80 ml/acre or PROFENOFOS 40 % + CYPERMETHRIN 4% EC @ 400 ml/acre or Fipronil 40 % + Imidacloprid 40 % Wg 40 gm / acre.  

  • As a biological treatment.use  Bavaria Basiana @ 250 gm / acre.
