80% subsidy is available on agricultural machines useful in dragon fruit cultivation

80% subsidy is available on agricultural machines useful in dragon fruit cultivation

More than 70% of the total Indian population earns its living by farming. To help these farmers, many beneficial schemes are run by the government through which subsidies are given to the farmers. In this context, the government is taking new steps with the aim of providing benefits to the farmers cultivating dragon fruit.

Actually, sprinkler technology is used to supplement irrigation in dragon fruit cultivation. In such a situation, the government is giving subsidies of up to 80% to the farmers who want to use it. It is worth noting that dragon fruit, which is popular in countries like Thailand, Vietnam and Israel, is being liked a lot in India these days. The price of this fruit in the Indian market is Rs 200 to 250. For this reason, dragon fruit is quite popular from a farming point of view.

The subsidy said to be suitable will actually be given to the farmers cultivating dragon fruit under the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission scheme launched by the Bihar Government Horticulture Directorate for the farmers. In this scheme, a 40% subsidy per unit cost (₹ 1.25 lakh/hectare) will be given by the government. According to this, farmers cultivating dragon fruit will get 40% i.e. ₹ 50 thousand as subsidy. For more information related to the scheme, please visit the website of the Bihar Agriculture Department, Horticulture Directorate, horticulture.bihar.gov.in.

Reduce agriculture costs by installing solar pumps in fields and earn good profits

Reduce agriculture costs by installing solar pumps in fields and earn good profits

The use of diesel and electric generator pumps increases your farming costs. If farmers want to earn good profits at low farming costs, then they should install solar pumps in their fields instead of generator pumps. These pumps not only make farming easier but also provide additional means of earning for the farmers. To promote solar pumps, many types of schemes are being run by the government for the farmers.

You can also get solar pumps installed in your fields through various government schemes. It is noteworthy that subsidy on solar pumps is generally given by the Central and various state governments as well as municipalities. The objective of this subsidy is to motivate farmers to use cheap and safe energy.

If you also want to install a solar pump on subsidy, then first get information related to the solar pump subsidy schemes of the state government, central government, or municipality. You can get this information from the official website of the Municipality, Agriculture Department, or Municipal Development Corporation.

However, let us tell you that the Central Government has a special scheme related to solar pumps, PM Kusum Yojana, under which farmers can get a 90% subsidy on installing solar pumps. This means that you can install solar pumps in your fields at just 10% of the cost. Like this scheme, other state governments also provide many types of subsidies.
