India is a young country and the government is running many schemes to make the youth self-reliant. “Self-reliant India Employment Scheme” and “Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana” are being run by the Central Government, while the State Governments are also running many beneficial schemes. In today’s article, we are going to give you information related to the special scheme ‘Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana’ run by the Madhya Pradesh government. Under this scheme, the government will provide a lump sum amount to the youth every month.
The amount of expenditure received by the government under this scheme can be up to a maximum of Rs 10,000. Here the amount will be determined according to different courses. This scheme is being operated in more than one phase. Let us tell you that in the first phase, the government has set a target of providing employment skill training to one lakh youth. The government will start this scheme with more than 700 courses in 46 different areas of the state. The objective of this scheme will be to make the youth self-reliant for self-employment.
Youth of Madhya Pradesh between the age of 18 to 29 years can apply for this scheme. The highest educational qualification of these youth is required to be either 12th or ITI pass. If the youth is 12th pass then he will get Rs 8000 every month whereas ITI pass youth will get Rs 8500. If the youth is a graduate, he will get Rs 9000 and if he has a higher degree, he will get a maximum amount of Rs 10000 every month. Youths wishing to apply for the scheme can register on the MMYS portal.
