The government will give free moong dal to all the students of this state up

Children are considered the future of the country. The future of the country will be bright only when the children are physically and mentally healthy. For this, it is very important for children to get a balanced nutritious diet. Keeping this in mind, the Madhya Pradesh government has implemented a special scheme for children.

Through this scheme, free moong dal is being given to all the students of government schools from classes I to VIII. Students of classes 1st to 5th are getting 10 kg of moong dal. Apart from this, 15 kg moong dal is being given to the students of Class VI to VIII.

Let us inform you that this scheme has been started in the state on April 15, 2022. The main objective of this scheme is to provide a balanced nutritious diet to the children of every category. As we know that moong dal is rich in nutrients, so the government has decided to distribute moong dal.

  • In Madhya Pradesh, the cotton crop is sown in both irrigated and unirrigated areas in the month of May-June. Generally, the crop period of cotton varieties is between 140 -180 days.

  • Today, through this article, we will discuss some long duration (155 -180 days) improved varieties of cotton sown in Madhya Pradesh and their important features .

  • Nuziveedu Goldcot– Its ball size is medium, total weight is 5 gm, cropping period is 155 to 160 days, best for heavy soil.

  • Ankur Swadeshi 5 – Its ball size is Large, total weight 3.50-4 gm, cropping period 160 to 180 days, best for heavy soil, High yielding variety withstands in adverse conditions, easy picking having high ginning percentage.

  • Kaveri jadoo– Its ball size is medium, total weight is 6-6.5 gm, cropping period is 155 to 170 days, best for light-medium soils, bollworm infestation is minimal and good for close sowing. 

  • Metahelix Aatish – Its ball size is large, total weight 5.5-6.5 gm, cropping period 160 to 170 days, best for light to medium soils, plant is medium to tall, bushy.

Now farmers will get 75% grant on tubewell mining

To provide support to the farmers, Nalkoop Khanan Yojana is being run by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and under this scheme, a grant of up to 75% is being given to farmers for mining of tube wells.

The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes farmers of the state can take advantage of the Nalkoop Khanan Yojana. Apart from this, the farmers of the general category are given benefits under a separate scheme. Presently this scheme is applicable in the entire state except for Indore and Shajapur districts.

Under this scheme, 75% of the amount is received by the state government for successful or unsuccessful tube well mining Under this, a maximum amount of Rs 25000 is given by the state government. Apart from this, 75% of the amount is paid to the farmer for pumping on successful tube wells. Under this, the state government gives a maximum amount of 15000 thousand rupees.

Farming has always been challenging for farmers. Farmers often suffer losses due to changing weather. Sometimes the crop gets ruined due to flood or drought. Meghraj Prasad has become a source of inspiration for the farmers who are facing such difficulties.

Meghraj Prasad, a resident of Kararia village in Bihar state, has set an example by cultivating khus (poppy seeds). Meghraj told that he always wanted to do something different in the agriculture sector. To make his dream come true, he got information about medicinal plants from a friend from Himachal. Where he came to know about Khas (poppy seeds) from a friend.

For the purpose of cultivating khus (poppy seeds), he went to Lucknow’s CIMAP Research Center and took training. After the training, he bought 10 thousand poppy seeds worth 20 thousand rupees from the centre itself. Meghraj said that initially, he cultivated in only one bigha. Where he earned more than expected i.e. one lakh rupees. After this, he earned a bumper profit by cultivating 20 bighas. Now the situation is that Meghraj is earning 20 lakhs annually by cultivating khus (poppy seeds) on 20 acres of his land.

Meghraj explains that khus (poppy seeds) do not require much water. Apart from this, this crop is also not affected by excessive rainfall. This means to say that this crop flourishes in every odd situation. Along with this, there is no harm to this crop from animals. In such a situation, the farmers have no fear of flood, drought and animals for the cultivation of poppy seeds.

Let us tell you that khus (poppy seeds) are used especially in making perfume. Due to this, its demand in the market is very high. At the same time, aromatic oil is extracted from the root of its plant. Apart from this, khus (poppy seeds) are used in making soap, perfumed cosmetics etc. In such a situation, you can also earn lakhs of rupees at a low cost through the cultivation of poppy seeds.

  • Decomposer is a type of biofertilizer that also acts as a fertility enhancer in the soil.

  • Through biological enrichment and the synergistic action of enzymatic catalysis, chronic residues are converted into healthy, rich, nutrient-balanced fertilizers.
