  • Wheat crop is one of the major Rabi crops.

  • Spray Propiconazole 25% EC (Zerox) @ 200 ml/acre to prevent fungal diseases.

  • Use Pseudomonas fluorescens (Monas curb) @ 250 gm/acre as a biological treatment.

  • If caterpillar infestation is seen in the crop then Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG (Emanova) can be sprayed 100 gm/ acre.

  • Nutrition Management:- To increase the quality of grains, spray 00:00:50 @ 1 kg/acre.

  • For good yield, foliar spray of water-soluble fertilizers is necessary, for this spraying can be done at 00:00:50 @ 1 kg per acre. It helps in increasing the size of the onion.

  • For pest and disease management in the crop, spraying of Cyantraniliprole 10.26% OD (Benevia) 250 ml + Tebuconazole 25.9% EC (Folicure) @ 200 ml per acre can be done.

  • With the above spray, silicone-based stickers can be mixed with Chipko (Silico Max) 5 ml per 15-litre tank.

  • In watermelon crops after germination, for good root and plant development, nutritional management is as important as plant protection. The crop can be protected by using the following products between 10 -20 days after sowing.

  • Fertilizer Management – For vegetative growth and development of plants 10-15 days after sowing, add Urea 75 kg + Micronutrient mixture (Agromin) 5 kg + Sulphur (Cosavet fertis) – 5 kg/ acre in the soil.

  • Spraying Management – After 15-20 days of sowing, spray Imidacloprid 40% + Fipronil 40% WG 40 gm + Chlorothalonil 75% WP @ 400 gm / acre in water for the management of sucking pests and fungal diseases.

  • Humic acid (Maxxroot) can be mixed with 100 gm of the suitable mixture, it helps the plant for better root growth.

  • If weeds are more visible in 10 -25 days after sowing, weedicide Propaquizafop 10% EC can be sprayed @ 400 ml per acre.

The Union Budget for the financial year 2022-23 was released on Tuesday in the Parliament House. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made several announcements while presenting the budget and one of these was the decision to promote the use of drones in the agriculture sector.

The government believes that the use of drones will save the time of the farmers as well as reduce the cost of agriculture. Apart from this, many other advantages of drones are being told. It is worth noting that Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had also issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) a few days ago for the use of drones in agriculture.
