In Uttar Pradesh, if farmers are seen burning stubble in the field, then the benefits of the “Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana” given to them by the Agriculture Department will be terminated. Let us tell you that this decision has been taken in the Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh state.

By the way, tough decisions have been taken by the government in the past regarding stubble burning. Under this, if someone is caught burning stubble, then he will have to pay a fine of two and a half thousand rupees for land up to 1 acre and a fine of up to 5000 for land above 1 acre.
