Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Shri Kamal Patel has informed that the government is going to pay the premium for crop insurance of farmers. A decision on this matter will be taken soon. This decision will benefit those small and medium farmers who are unable to pay their premium due to some reason. By paying the premium of the government, farmers will be able to get the benefit of insurance easily.
Apart from this, it is also being considered to start a canteen in the Mandi premises to provide farmers with agricultural products and equipment at one place at a low rate. The government is going to decide on this subject soon. Along with this, a clinic facility is also going to be started in the name of Atal Bihari Bajpayee for the farmers coming to the market. Here all types of medical examinations of farmers will be done and their cards will also be made.
