Start goat rearing business, government will help up to Rs 8 lakh

Farmers can improve their financial condition by doing animal husbandry along with farming. Seeing this quality of animal husbandry, the government also encourages farmers to do animal husbandry and also runs many schemes. In this episode, farmers of the state can take advantage of the Goat Farm Scheme run through the Animal and Fisheries Resources Department of the Government of Bihar.

Let us tell you that under this scheme, a bumper subsidy of up to 60% can be availed to start goat rearing. By applying under this, animal breeders can avail subsidy of Rs 1.21 lakh to Rs 7.82 lakh from the state government.

It is worth noting that through the Goat Farm Scheme, animal breeders of the general category can start goat rearing by taking subsidy up to 50%, while animal breeders of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe can get subsidy up to 60% under this.

To start a farm through the scheme, livestock farmers can apply online for 20 goats and 1 male goat or 100 goats and 5 male goats. To apply, you have to visit the official website of the Animal Husbandry Department.
