The effect of El Nino will now continue in August as well as in September. Its effect is visible in the Indian monsoon. Now Monsoon will weaken over West and South India including Northwest India. There is a possibility of heavy rains over East India including East parts of Central India. Rain activities will also increase in North East India. Weather will remain dry in most parts of Rajasthan including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and many districts of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
