On this subject, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said during the cabinet meeting, “The Chief Minister Solar Pump Scheme has been approved for the installation of solar pumps for irrigation. The cabinet has decided that where there is no electricity, there is no electricity. The MukhyaMantri Solar Pump Scheme should be implemented immediately by giving priority to solar pumps.
Farmers can apply online to Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for solar pump installation. Under this subsidy will be given by the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. This time, under the Chief Minister Solar Pump Scheme, priority will be given to such farmers whose farms do not have electricity facilities.
