Dragon fruit is in high demand all over the world. It is widely cultivated in South America. But now many farmers in India have started cultivating it. To promote its cultivation in India, the government is also promoting it at many regional levels. Now, it has been decided to give a subsidy on dragon fruit cultivation to farmers in Uttar Pradesh.
This subsidy will be made available to the farmers of the Bulandshahr district of the state. According to the Bulandshahr District Horticulture Department, farmers will be given benefits under this scheme on a first-come-first-served basis. For this, the farmers will be selected and the entire amount of subsidy will be sent to the bank account of the selected farmers.
