At present, severe heatwave continues in North West, Central and East India, due to which there is a possibility of damage to the crops of Ravi season. There is no chance of rain in Northwest and Central India till at least April 10. There is no respite from the heat as there is no rain. Rain activities are likely to increase over Northeast India. Heavy rains are possible over Lakshadweep including Kerala and Karnataka.
