Outbreak of scorching heat, productivity of crops may decrease

At present, a severe heatwave continues in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra including Delhi and Rajasthan. Due to high heat, the quality and productivity of crops can be reduced. Low pressure may form over the Bay of Bengal in the first week of April.
