The outbreak of cold winds blowing from the mountains is now visible. Due to these winds, the temperature will drop in many states of North India. Winter will also increase in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The depression in the Bay of Bengal is likely to give heavy rains over Sri Lanka including South Tamil Nadu, while the rest of South India will see scattered rains.
