A new system may form in the Bay of Bengal, alert of torrential rain in southern states

A cyclonic wind area has formed in the southeast Bay of Bengal, which is likely to deepen into low pressure. But its effect will not be much on the east coast of India. Heavy rains with lightning and hailstorms are expected in southern Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu during the next few days. At the same time, the weather will remain dry in North India. It can also remain dry and hot in central and eastern India. Due to rising temperatures in north, west, central and eastern India, the outbreak of heat wave will increase in some places, which will cause very hot weather.
