On Friday, July 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Asia’s largest solar plant. This plant has been constructed in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. PM started the plant through a video conference. During this, PM Modi praised the people and farmers of Madhya Pradesh.
The PM said in his address that “this plant will benefit the poor, middle-class people, farmers, and tribals of Madhya Pradesh”. PM Modi added that “During the Corona crisis, farmers of Madhya Pradesh produced a record-breaking crop and the government bought it; soon the farmers of Madhya Pradesh will also break the record of generating electricity.”
Significantly, the farmers of Madhya Pradesh have set a record by beating all other states of the country in wheat procurement. This is what the PM mentioned in his speech. Along with this, he said that “the goods related to the solar plant will be made in India. Under Atma Nirbhar Bharat, their dependence on imports will be reduced and its production will be promoted here.”
