Dense fog will remain in North India. There will be some increase in the minimum temperature which may bring some respite from the harsh winter. Heavy snowfall will continue in the mountains. A drop in temperature has been recorded up to Rayalaseema including Telangana and Maharashtra. East and North-East India will be in the grip of cold weather but the weather will remain dry.
