Farmers always do animal husbandry for additional income farming. Farmers are also being helped in this area by the government so that the farmers get a lot of income in this area as well. In view of this, under the Dairy Development and Milk Production Promotion Policy 2022, efforts are being made by the Uttar Pradesh government to bring positive changes in the entire dairy sector.
The Uttar Pradesh government is now giving a huge subsidy of ₹ 15 crores for setting up a milk plant and ₹ 7.5 crores for setting up an animal feed plant. Under this scheme, the government is going to provide employment to 1.25 lakh people. Under this, in the coming 5 years, the possibility of investment of up to 5000 crores is being expressed through the dairy policy of Uttar Pradesh.
