Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there has been light snowfall on the high mountains of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Now winter can start in North India from 18th November. Cold winds blowing from the mountains will bring down the temperature of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and Northern Rajasthan. Air pollution will remain in the dangerous category in many cities of North India including Delhi. Dense fog may occur in the morning in many districts of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Day temperatures will remain high in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Good rain will continue in most of the states of South India.
