Milk production is the main business of employment generation in rural areas. To promote this, the central and state governments are running many schemes. In this sequence, cattle farmers and farmers doing excellent work in the field of milk production are being honored, so that more and more people are encouraged to adopt animal husbandry.
Let us tell you that under the ‘National Gopal Ratna Award Scheme’ by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, prizes will be given to farmers, livestock farmers, dairy cooperative societies, milk producer companies, and artificial insemination technicians. The award will be given in three categories. An amount of Rs 5 lakh will be given for the first rank, Rs 3 lakh for the second rank and Rs 2 lakh for the animal husband who gets the third rank. Along with this a certificate and a memento will also be given. These awards will be given on the day of National Milk Day i.e. 26 November 2022.
For this, applications have been invited from farmers across the country on the National Award Portal, the last date of which is 15 September 2022. To apply online visit the official website https://awards.gov.in. If you think that you have done excellent work in the field of milk production, then without wasting time apply for this scheme.
